This program continuously strives to cultivate excellent professionals for the intelligent machine industry which is a core industry in the Southeast region of Korea and for IT-based naval architecture, offshore plant engineering and intelligent home engineering. Experts from the field and top professors from major universities in Ulsan and Gyeongnam offer a shared curriculum that strengthens students’ professional competencies and creativity they must be equipped with as engineers and, offer field-oriented learning experience using advanced lab and practical training environment. Promoting industry-academy-research cooperation, the Smart Mechanical Design and Analysis program cultivates global engineers that will drive continuous development and advancement in Southeastern manufacturing industries and contribute to strengthening of Korea’s national competitiveness with their abilities to design and analyze smart machines.

Educational Objectives

Selecting students and growing them as professionals in smart machine design analysis in smart manufacturing engineering to construct a growth support system for professional human resources in order to overcome the manufacturing industry crisis in the Ulsan・Gyeongnam area and to promote industrial advancement
Growing professional human resources through integrated・ compound curriculum based on general job capabilities in the manufacturing industry field
Development and operation of on-site joint education programs with company experts
Developing smart factory construction/operation/analysis capabilities as a specialized field
Innovative teaching methods, such as PBL, flipped learning, team teaching, etc.

Corporations that have expertise in core e-mobility technologies and top professors from major universities in Ulsan and Gyeongnam offer an advanced curriculum in this program. Promoting industry-academy-research cooperation, the E-mobility program cultivates global engineers that will drive innovation in the electric, electronic and mechatronics industries and contribute to strengthening of Korea’s national competitiveness.

This program continuously strives to cultivate excellent Intelligent Robotics design professionals that could overcome crisis and drive the 4th Industrial Revolution in Southeastern manufacturing industries. The program offers an outstanding curriculum for cultivating interdisciplinary professionals that can design and control advanced mechanical and control devices like intelligent manufacturing robots and intelligent collaborative robots which can be applied to smart factories and, that can run smart factories integrated with various types of robots. Promoting industry-academy-research cooperation, the Intelligent Robotics program supports students to become professional engineers who will drive continuous development and advancement in Southeastern Intelligent Robotics industries and contribute to strengthening of Korea’s national competitiveness.

Constructing a system to cultivate human resources for design analysis by educating smart manufacturing engineering robotics design specialists who can overcome the manufacturing industry crisis in the Ulsan・Gyeongnam area and lead Industry 4.0
